The Stick & Stretch 1500 PRO Extender/Joiners provide sizing flexibility. If you need a different size than the standard stretcher bar lengths, or if you need something longer, this product is the key. Make custom-sized canvas frames.
The Extender/Joiners are L-shaped wooden bars that fit into the groove of the 1500 PRO stretcher bars. Four pre-set metal staples are ready to go. For shorter bars, remove the extra length from the middle of the standard-sized stretcher bar (so the ends retain their miter). Align the two pieces, place the Extender/Joiner, and tap the staples all the way in. For extending your standard-sized stretcher bars, use two bars and saw off one end on each bar (the bars are not reversible or mirrored, so make sure to hack off the correct ends). Use the Extender/Joiners to fasten the bars together.
