Avery Dennison® DR OptiShade i is a dual reflective window film with a neutral earth tone hue. It is sometimes called house window tint. This film is ideal for residential tinted windows including high rise condos, apartment buildings, multiplexes, and even detached homes. The colour complements furniture and floors, especially wood materials. It blocks 99% of UV light, protecting paints and fabrics from fading.
Like all dual reflective window films, DR OptiShade i has two reflective layers. The outer layer provides most of the solar protection. It creates the classic mirror effect when viewed from outside. This layer also reduces glare for occupants. The view from inside is less harsh and easier on the eyes. The inner layer is specially designed to reduce interior reflectivity, preserving clear views of the outdoors.
DR OptiShade i is available in 3 shades or VLT levels. Depending on the shade, this window film rejects more or less solar energy. This reduces heat gain, making rooms more comfortable and cheaper to cool.
This tint film applies to the interior side of windows. This feature makes it ideal for remodeling projects and retrofitting. Depending on the height of the windows, it can be installed with minimal scaffolding and less safety gear.
