Avery Dennison® DR OptiTune i Interior is a dual reflective window film. Its main feature is a reduction in solar heat gain, providing cooler rooms, greater comfort, and lower cooling costs. A highly reflective outer layer does most of the heavy lifting. It blocks 99% of UV light, reduces glare, and rejects solar energy. This layer also gives windows a stylish mirror appearance from outside. A less reflective inner layer preserves views to the outside. Nano technology creates long lasting colour stability as well as solar protection that doesn't degrade over time.
The neutral grey tint colour of DR Optitune i makes it ideal for industrial and commercial tinted windows including offices, warehouses, factories, schools, medical centres, and more. However, it is also suitable for residential applications. The DR Optitune 05 is Avery Dennison's darkest shade of architectural film. It functions as a one-way mirror for outstanding daytime privacy.
This architectural window film applies to the interior side of exterior windows. This feature makes it ideal for retrofitting untinted windows. Many installations can be completed without scaffolding or manlifts. Interior application films don't reject quite as much solar energy as exterior films, but the practicality usually outweighs the marginal heat penalty.
