Avery Dennison® MPI 2050 Translucent vinyl is specifically designed for backlit signs (also called internally illuminated signs). It uniformly disperses and transmits light when applied over a light source. Use it for indoor or outdoor signs. Popular applications include overhead menus, shopping mall infographics, storefront branding, and bus shelter advertising. It is 3.4 mil thick with a permanent adhesive. MPI 2050 has great image clarity and colour pop. Advertise both day and night.
Having trouble getting your colours to look good during both daytime and nighttime illumination? Try this solution!
- Print the graphic onto translucent vinyl, like normal.
- Print an exact copy of the graphic onto transparent vinyl.
- Stick the two together, with the translucent layer on top.
- The additional layer of ink from the transparent layer of vinyl will increase the saturation of the colours when illuminated from behind.
